Rabbi Asher Tesser, was born in Mexico City where his father was a part of the local Kollel. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and spent his formative yeshiva years in Yeshiva Meon Hatorah, (better known as Roosevelt

Yeshiva). He continued his learning in Eretz Yisrael in the

famed Yeshiva under the leadership of Harav Tzvi

Kaplan Shlita. After learning there, he went to Bais

Medresh Govoha in Lakewood, got married to his wife

Shaina Lercher (from Brooklyn, NY), and returned to

Eretz Yisrael where they lived for the next 2 years.

After meeting with Rabbi Klahr in Eretz Yisrael, they

decided, with the enthusiastic encouragement of their

parents and Rabbeim to move to Cherry Hill and be part

of the Kollel.
